I wish I could say I started painting again because it’s my passion. But that’s not my story. Instead, painting found me again after struggling through tragedy and years of grief. It took a simple, random art project to capture that first glimmer of hope that I needed to start moving forward.
Painting, and in particular, fluid art, allows me to express the movement of my feelings and energy within me and around me. I explore the intricate relationship between nature and abstraction to create dynamic compositions that evoke emotion and contemplation. I am excited by the interplay of color and texture which allows the materials to dictate the flow and movement within each piece. This spontaneity reflects my belief in the inherent unpredictability of nature, where beauty often emerges from chaos.
